Problem: Power windows, locks and mirror stopped working this afternoon, however, the power locks work from the passenger door, I am clueless here, I'm not good at all with electronics, could it be that the controller need to be replaced? Weird that the mirrors are not working either, I thought they were separate.
Thanks in advance for your help.

My guess would be something happened to the wiring harness that goes from the driver's door to the cab.

That’s what I thought, however, rear doo switches do not work either, and yes, I checked the window lock button.

All the window and door lock controls run through the Master Switch on the Drivers door.

Did the Master Switch get wet as in the window was open in pouring rain .

The drivers Door see many cycles of opening and closing the harness does tend to break from the constant movement.

Time to break out the Meter.

Thanks, I guess it is time for a new switch, so, next question would be, if any, what years of 4Runners would have compatible switches?

I wouldn't buy anything until I knew what I needed to replace. It could be as simple as power wire or even a loose connector. If that's all fed from a single fuse and relay, I'd check those too.

When troubleshooting, always start with the simplest thing first. That's why when you call customer service with a computer problem they always ask you if it's plugged in! ;)

Trouble shooting seems to be a lost art to so many just replace parts to you get lucky.
