    I think you mean 325, not 327, the 327 is in 357mag.

I have a 325PD, and the only revolver that I own that might beat it out as my favorite is my Ruger Buckeye Blackhawk in 10mm. The 325pd is the same weight as a Glock 19 since it has a scandium frame and titanium cylinder, so it's got some good recoil with 45acp.
The Blackhawk only has the 10mm cylinder with it, originally they came with a 38-40 cylinder too. I would like to have a .40sw cylinder made for it, or if possible , a 10mm Norma mag or .400 Corbon cylinder.

You’re right friend, I definitely got my numbers mixed up, thanks.
I wear that revolver most of the time, unless I think I’ll be going into the city. Then, these days, I tend to carry something with a little more capacity .

Why not a moon clip compatible cylinder? You could swap ammo on the fly and maybe reload a little faster as a bonus.

For a single action revolver? Eh, pulling the cylinder pin to replace the wheel is a bit much, these aren't blackpowder pistols:D

Now if I had a SW 610 or one of the Ruger 10mm DA revolvers, definitely better for a moonclip fed revolver.

Didn't realize it's SA only. I'm pretty new to revolvers, and decided "go big or go home" and got a 460V (460 magnum with 5" barrel) for my first one (also the first gun I have for no real reason other than I wanted it since it's really designed for doing things that aren't on the menu in my area). So far I've only got 50 rounds through it, and 30 of those were 45LC, the 8" gouts of fire out the sides of the compensator are pretty impressive when running 460 mags through it though

Yeah, those are cool revolvers, and I like that you can shoot 3 calibers in them, 45lc, 454 Casull, and 460mag. Just too damn long though, lol.

That's why I got the 5 inch barrel instead of the 8 3/8". With its proportions, it really looks like the Rock should be holding it in a movie somewhere. It'll also shoot 45 Schofield if I ever encountered any, but from what I've read that tends to be a longer case and a less powerful load than the 45LC; I think the cylinder might be just a little too short to load 45-70 or 410 shotshells (after looking at the compensator geometry, I probably wouldn't want to run shot through it anyway)

Now that I don't have just pistols and long guns, I'm thinking I should maybe pick up something in a 357 as well just to have all the major calibers covered. Still have to wait another 10 days to put in a DROS for another handgun around here, though. Starting to lean toward the 686P in 3 inch, or else something like a SP-101 in 2.5" (going back and forth about how compact I'd want to go); I can't get a CCW around here, but sometimes L.A. seems so close to going full-on Mad Max that there might come a point where the risk of going unarmed might exceed the risk of crossing the law

Is that the 500 or the 460?

I'm kinda digging the new grips I just put on my Ruger GP-100 .22 LR (10-shot).

So maybe it's my favorite today.

Very nice looking, how does it shoot ?
Was thinking about adding this one to the herd.

I haven't tried to really wring it out for accuracy. But my son and I enjoy plinking with it. Only have a few hundred rounds through it so far. Accuracy seems fine, but can't say if it's match-level.

I prefer the triggers on S&W revolvers to the triggers on Ruger revolvers. And in my experience, a decent rimfire revolver DA trigger will be heavier than a decent centerfire revolver DA trigger. That said, I'd call the trigger on this one decent.

I'd like to have one of the 10-shot pre-lock S&W 17 or 617 4-inch models, but am not really willing to pay the prices they're currently bringing.

I acquired this TALO Kodiak Backpacker about 3 years ago at the LGS
on the "used" rack. I would say "hardly used" the way it looks.
Beautiful piece. Good luck on your quest for the Alaskan.

Dad gave me his Mod 17 he bought in the 60s awhile back. I checked the serial and I think it's a 1956 model. It is a very nice piece. I didn't know they made a 10 shot mod 17.
