OK, so I have been all over the forum looking for this answer, but havent found it. I'm looking to put a bed cover on, and have decided to go with the roll up type that the bows stay in the cover. Been looking at the Access brand. ($425 from the local Linex dealer).
Heres my issue - It mounts using the bed rail system, and you loose the abillity to use the tie downs. I really dont want to give that up!
So, does anyone have a roll up type cover that you can still use the rail system for tie downs? If so, what brand is it?
    Thanks in advance.

One of the access covers, don't remember which, has you remove your tie-down rails FIRST, then install the tonneau mounts, then reinstall the tie-down rails onto the tonneau mounts - so you still get full access to them.

Have you installed the extra D-rings up front on the bed floor?

Those would give you some more tie-down points you may loose

    with the bed cover

I'm pretty sure that with all the access you have to remove the rail and install the tonneau frame behind the rail.

The question is... which allow you to use the tie downs that come with the truck and I can't remember which one, you have to get the mini ones.

I have the access L/E and I can use the tie downs.

I have a Lund Peel and Seal and I still have full access to the side rails. I had to modify the front because they way it mounted was screwy, it was going to block the entire front rail. 20 minutes with a sawzall fixed that right up! The bows don't roll up with the cover though.

Thanks for the tips, I might just call Access to find out which one works best for this truck. They have like 4 different covers, but the web site doesnt give any install info.
No, I havent done the front D rings yet. I saw that tip last night, and its on my short list of to do's.
    Thanks again!
