Oldest one here? Aren't you low middle aged? Or am I confused

This is gonna have to be a present for the wife, plug it in on the deck and sit and enjoy the nice fall days.

Buddy's gift is super cool, post up a closed up photo? Interested to see it in full camo mode!

It's also really, really easy to stir shit up over there. I have to be careful, I mostly stopped commenting on anything and only use it as a resource for parts and upgrades. In the Super Duty forum over there, everyone's the self-proclaimed weight police and a long-haul expert, the gas vs diesel debates are epic and seem to happen daily and there aren't a lot of 'fun' builds to follow. It's all bro-dozers and work trucks and the people complaining about all the fancy features of their Platinum not working to their liking.

Surprisingly, a lot of the new members in the Super Duty section start out with 'I just traded in my Tacoma'. Seems to be fairly common to jump from a Tacoma to a 250 or 350 for whatever reason. At least I did it in steps and stopped at the 150 step for a while.

Got these ready to go. Had to go with 275/65/18--they said they couldn't seem to get the 255s.

nice. I just swung by the Walmart and got plastidip and glossifier for my rims. Will probably do Sunday, clean off the trail mud from Saturday and hit them for some snazz. If I have enough I’ll do my bumper caps then too.

speaking of which I found some black bumper caps for 16 - 19 and someone had asked if they fit a 20 and the seller or someone else posted that they will not fit a 20. I don’t have park assist or anything like that, is that true? Honestly I’d pay 50 bucks for them if they’ll fit, I assumed they would. Maybe different tail lights so they think they won’t fit? Thought everything was the same though.

Did you get the tire wet stuff also? You’ll want to put that on the tires first, it makes peeling the Plasti dip off the tires really easy.

I did not. I was planning to use the card deck/index card method. Realistically this is sort of a try it and see sort of thing. I was about to buy the vinyl stick on things but decided to try this first and see if I liked it better since it’s all black instead of just blacking out the machined surfaces. Worth a shot.

hate the chrome bumper though so if this works, I’m doing something with that before the winter. If I can find that the 20 is the same as the 16-19 I’ll just buy those and sell the chrome ones/give them away.
