@JustAddMud did you ever make fender Liners after cutting fenders ? I cut out tabs on my metal fenders to give me something to attach a liner, just haven’t got around to making them yet. I need to do that sooner than later.

Years ago this City hosted the PanAm games. The event leased a fleet of Trucks, all white, all fully loaded for the event with take over payments or purchase outright options after the event. Went out to the landfill site one Saturday Mornin’ & counted over 20 event trucks all with trailers & nothin’ in the boxes haulin’ trash, tree branches & what have you. Sure could tell who was keepin’ their Trucks.

I owned one before the GX for all of 700 miles. It had the sunroof and my Toyota bro flat brimmed hat always touched the headliner. Sold it to get a GX. I do miss how much wider the runner was compared to the GX. Don’t miss how it felt like you were sitting on the floor with no headroom.

No, I never made fender liners for it after I trimmed. If I was, I would have gone with some neoprene or thicker plastic with the tabs that you mentioned. I knew that I was going to go with a 'Norkl so I wasn't worried about water ingestion.

I Had an Arb snorkel but after a couple of years I got tired of looking at it, and tired of people ALWAYS asking “ what is that”. So I made this....6717914E-47E8-4CF1-AA33-BD31893DFCE7.jpg524585B0-EEE8-4725-A71E-38C30E0DA93F.jpg

What's the piece of aluminum for in front of the fresh air vent?

My guess is that its for keeping debris out of the fresh air intake for the AC system and possibly to help deflect air into the CAI.

Eh it’s just a barrier. I’ve seen them with or without it. I had that aluminum lying around so I figured why not!?

But it certainly does keep a certain amount of debris From going into the cabin Filter, mostly leaves and pine needles. Have noticed a big difference in how clean my air filter stays as well with the intake not being in the fender well.

Debadged, decals removed ARE V series Camper Shell, RallyArmor mud flaps I’m old, my truck is boring
Seems like my air filter gets dirty quicker after my snorkel, but HUGE drop in intake temps in the summer.
