Went racing for the first time this year.



We won the qualifier and all the races we entered.

Where did you race at? I raced Loudon for a couple of years on the Duc. I miss that damned bike.

this one was lime rock.
We raced NH for years until they made it so difficult to get the track.
The transitions suck big time.....

 

Turn 4 was horrendous with the hump for the oval. All of the close pile-ins I had were turn 4 and the bowl.. I used to come into it a tad fast..

 

To fix it would not take that much.
Had to raise the other car so we wouldn’t take the oil pan out.
The bowl on a bike would be a very strange angle your not use to.
Use to watch the side cars and monkeys.
They use to give a great show going through that section

 

Of course. Pizza grease is nasty stuff.

You raced up in Oxford? Its a piddly little oval but a big deal up there. My buddy Brian Babb was heavy into the racing up that way

 

did some circle track at Oxford many years ago.
Never drag raced there.

I was in the Bob Babb, Homer drew, dick wolstnhulm, Dick Bergeren. Time frame.

 

Gocha. Gary Babb is his dad and he had a million uncles that also raced but I hung with the newer gen..
