Hmm, that does become quite the confusing thing then.
Only thing I can think of to do at this point is to pull the headliner down, and shower some water on it to see where its coming from.

Tuesday will make 10 weeks for my TRUSS retrax bed rack order. I need the rack to be shipped soon, I have a 5 day overland trip up to West Virginia planned on the TAT starting the first of October. Need to put the RTT on the rack and make sure everything fits before heading out.

If @medic7556 ordered his around the same time I order mine, the lead time was listed at 4-6 weeks. I think it's safe to assume he ordered well enough in advance to his up-coming trip.

Fair enough but it does state average lead time. So there is no promise that it will be at or less than that.

I've been waiting a fair while myself, so I get it, but keep in mind it's not like we're dealing with a mass manufacturer that has dealer networks and all the things that corporations do to move products. Furthermore, the pandemic doesn't help things. Lastly, this product was invented LAST YEAR.

Let's be patient and treat our dope ass TW vendors nicely. If you want an update, email him (or whatever method he prefers) about your order, it's not cool to complain on a public forum- there's a time and place for that, e.g. the vendor who won't respond to your private comm requests.

I'm not trying to stoke a fire here, just witnessed a number of these threads get nasty toward folks who are doing us a solid when they don't have to or didn't originally intend to.

    To Everyone:

We as a team at upTOP hear all of your concerns. I know that some of you have been waiting 10 weeks, some racks are leaving closer to 12 weeks but I assure you that it is not due to any lack of effort. My team is all of 4 people on the production side, everything that we make is made by 4 guys. Most of us work 10 hours or more per day, 6 days per week.

I am not going to make any excuses, we are missing our lead times. COVID sucks, supply chain to us sucks, order volume is a blessing and a curse....but none of these our excuses. We as a team feel an overwhelming amount of pressure not to let you down. I understand the wait is the worst part and we want to make the wait as short as possible.

We have made significant improvements to our production recently however it will still be a few weeks before we can see the benefits of this. For any of you waiting, feel free to email me, that is the best way to get updates.

Thank you for all of your continued support, we are going as fast as we can!

upTOP is getting too much business to keep up!? Impossible. I don't ...

Okay, yeah I do believe it. :D Superior products, and anyone complaining about not getting their orders yet just goes to show how much they want it, and is a testament to the product line.

IMO you don’t have to explain yourselves. It’s well known companies that fabricate a lot of stuff by hand have long wait times. It’s what’s to be expected for quality products. The pandemic doesn’t help either.

it’s not like their life is going to be severely impacted if they don’t have a damn roof rack on their truck lol.

keep on doing what you do best! Making badass overland gear!

I still say that many of us are used to waiting 12+ weeks for armor, so 4-6 weeks, or even 6-8 weeks is a very nice reprise.
