Cooper Tire Crew member checking in. Let us talk about heavy-for-their-size tires. Excuse me while I go pout in my 4cyl AT AC about good tires being heavy. :pout:

Bruh. That's a thicc set of rubber. I am close acquaintances with a TJ owner that runs those. He has a ton of good things to say about them and I trust his opinion. But they are dense like tungsten.
Dude, how many room mates do you have? That house has to feel bigger on the inside, right?
Yeah. I'm not ready to talk about it yet lol. When I pay it off this year, I'll be investigating regearing and traction control upgrades, as well as an agressively tuned forced induction system.

If you have around $700 to blow on a TV, buy one of these instead. [IMG]

Check out the SAIGA-12. This is a clone of that gun.

If you were looking to offload some 2nd gen parts, I'd probably be interested. No such luck though lol.

I know some places. What kind of camping do you like?

The trails are few and far between. There's some fun stuff if you look hard enough.;)

    Hell yeah!

Yeah kind of figured there wouldn't be much. I expected to drive a bit to get anywhere. Definitely snappin' a few necks when driving my truck around . And yes spotted cow I admit is pretty darn good ;)

The Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest has a lot of primitive campsites. You have to look for them. Use an off-road mapping app to find out where you can and can't go. Avenza Maps allows you to view motor vehicle usage maps while using GPS.

I have found some by looking at aerial maps and following forest roads towards small lakes. Some of the campsites aren't listed due to poorly maintained access roads.

Usually, these sites are about the only thing on a small lake. There will be a fire ring, and if you're lucky, an open air pit toilet down a trail. Otherwise, you better have a shovel.:)

Let me know if you want more information.

Oh, I am well aware how terrible they are to shoot. With that gigantic bolt assembly slamming back like 6 inches every round, it's almost a blessing that they have feed and ejection issues. I mean, it's an AKM loading sausages. I do like that my stamped and folded origami guns range from a tack driver to a sausage chunker, though.

I'm a wood furniture gun kind of guy. The price of AKs and ARs has kind of flopped a bit lately. I might get an AR upper and a barrel to start a build. I have no idea where to start for an AR though lol. I'll have to do some reading.

We have built 4 of them. Plus a complete 5th for her father.
They aren't too bad. Usually Spike's or PSA stuff that I used.

With how far the tech has come and possible common usage cases being more and more urban, an SBR might be in the cards for me. What round do you prefer in your SBRs?
PSA is what I'm leaning toward. I like their price points and they actually have some decent upper kits in stock. I might go with a 7.5" or 8.5" barrel. The only issue is finding one cambered in what I want.
