Don't need it but I did the sim when I ordered the headers. Cheaper and figured if I ever sell the truck or go back to stock tune for whatever reason it'll be nice. You will want the o2 extension harness though

If you get the headers, not a bad idea to pickup and extra flange gasket. The headers use a non standard one so if you mean it up you have to order it from urd. Also not a bad idea to order the y pipe to muffler section gasket and a hardware kit. Just in case you have a stuck bolt to cut or it breaks. I had both a stud break on the stoxk header to y pipe and the boot break at the y pipe to muffler section.

The install really isn't bad. I removed the y pipe and everything went in just fine. Just have to remove the steering shaft which can be a pain. Just jack the fridge but up and remove the wheels and getting to the manifold nuts was pretty easy with extension and swivel

Yeah I’ve installed several sets of headers on Tacos including my old one so not worried about that. You’re still running the stock ypipe (stock everything after headers) yeah? How’s the rasp from these? Did you add a resonator somewhere downstream?

I personally don't find it that bad. I only really notice it in 1st and 2nd when at wot or close to it (like accelerating on an on ramp). At cruising or slower start type throttle I don't really notice it. And yeah stock from y pipe back.

Orrr call the freight company cause of it's shipping with someone like XPO and you don't have loft gate service the driver very well may tell you to f off and not deliver it as you are supposed to have a loading dock or fork lift.

Also depends how it's packed. On a pallet or box is going to be a pain to get out of a freight truck with no lift gate. Same going to depend on the driver if he waits as you in do packing to make it easier

You guys missed all my fun. Friday, I drove west, and while stopped at Thorpe, I noticed one of my boat trailer tires had lost all of its tread, and was down to the fabric, but it was still holding air. Luckily I had a spare to get the rest of the way over, then $100 and a trip to Burlington saturday got new trailer tires for the boat trailer. Monday, I drove back home through the windstorm. My tiny boat was trying to whip around a little on me, so I stopped at the Indian John rest stop, a little east of Cle Elum. The weather strip on the passenger side of the windshield had also come loose and was flapping around, so I tucked that back in, and moved a couple green pine rounds out of the bed of my truvk into the front end of the boat for more tongue weight. Between Indian John Hill and Thorpe, the glass on passenger mirror decided it had held on long enough and took flight. Shortly after that, the weather strip on the windshield started flapping around again. I pulled off at Thorpe, and had screws and a drill with me, so I put the weather strip back in place, then made sure it would stay there by screwing it down to the metal of the body.
That was all well and good, then about 10-15 miles after Ellensburg, it went damn near dark for the smoke in the air, but mostly cleared up before Vantage. Crossing the river in Vantage, I saw the sign saying i90 was closed after Moses Lake with no detour. I talked to my wife and had her look up a new route for me since driving was already sketchy. I pulled off i90 just after the last main Moses Lake exit, and cut 3 miles north, then turned east again on Wheeler Rd. There was about 35 miles of side roads I was going along, and at one point, got to about 20-30 feet of visibility. For that, I was rolling 5-10 mph. I got back onto i90 a little west of Ritzville, then got the rest of the way home. I got about 17.6 mpg heading west and doing some other driving around. I got 15.6 heading back home with almost constant headwind.
For those of you into bass fishing, I was hitting Lake Goodwin, and expecting to catch some rainbows, but over the weekend, smallmouth were all that took the bait. That lake is low this time of year, and warm.

I've got a meat grinder and have heard bear makes good sausage. I also have freezer space to add more meat in, and the truck to put the bear into whole.

Back your truck with tailgate down to the back of shipping truck, and slide the bumper off the shipping truck into the back of your truck.
Worst case, you pay for lift gate service. Slightly less bad, you arrange to pick up the bumper from the shipping depot directly, where they should have a forklift to load it into your truck..

I also have all these things :D. I'd just make a shitload of smoked sausage and give it out to everybody that wanted some. You can do roasts too but you gotta cook the shit out of it

When I picked up my rear bumper they just used a fork lift and it plopped right in the back of my bed. You can probably get it out by yourself, but it was way easier getting it out as a 2 man lift.

My front bumper is aluminum, was super easy since its like 60 pounds.

What bumper did you get? SSO by chance? Considering the options/cost of freight...especially if you selected residential, they should drop it in your driveway/sidewalk (before any stairs).

Ok...My SSO bumper was completed last week and the cost for freight varied between business (with/without dock) and residential with 3 different carriers, and pricing variations. Of course, residential was the most expensive by far so they better plan on dropping it off in my driveway at the very least.

No horn air bag light. So I replaced my spiral cable. Horn works again air bag light still on. Does it turn off on its own when it’s good to go or is it something I need reset? I’m thinking about pulling the negative again and go though the air bag connections if it will turn off on its own.

I just ordered new side mirror glass yesterday, and shipping was about double to ship to my house compared to my employer's office. It is about a 20 min drive between house and office, but same thing of residential versus business. This is going to be a small box anyway, and won't need a loading dock.

    a newbe/dumbass question guys.
think a deflated 35 would fit under a 2nd gen? oba could take care of the rest. want biggs again but no bed space, and a 1200 swingout isnt in the forecast.
just looking for opinions otherwise ill just buy some c-load 285's and sell these cheap. thanks.
