    ls turbo, tons, 40's and a partidge in a pear tree
    I went w 16” wheels and 285/75 because I think 17’s look a little big on a first gen. I’m doing 285/70 or 75 - 17 on my 3rd gen for sure.

    Anyone know the thread size on the 1st gen skid plate bolts. going to try and use a tap and clean them up. Thanks in advance for any help.

    thank you very much, Sad part is I just saw somewhere recently a pic, or a post of a replacement set of them, and I can't find it. Thats just the kind of crap that pisses me off. know what I mean. I had it right there, and poof it's gone.

    Got my driver's side axle rebooted using the walkthrough by @turbodb . Spent 30-45 minutes trying to pop it back in with no luck, going to have to try again tomorrow.

    The 1st Gen: All pro 3” lift (650 lbs coils, expedition rears with bilstiens),Timbren rear bumpstops, ubolt flip, diff drop, carrier bearing drop, 33’s on beadlocks ,ARB Bumper, winch, hand throttle, ARE canopy, roof bars, poly bushings all around minus the body mounts. The 2nd Gen: Leveling kit, roll up tonneau cover. 265/75/16’s
    It’s an easy job as long as the cam adjusters aren’t seized. Just a little time consuming if you do the energy suspension version, I can give you some pointers to make your life easier. I’ve done 2 of those kits now.

    The 3m headlight restoration kit works incredibly well. If the toothpaste doesn’t work, that kit is very well worth the money.
