Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
What sucks is a lot of the reasons he put in there on "why" we have this... are regulated by certain powers. For instance, PGE can't trim trees around power lines unless they are dead/diseased (there are distance limits... but only good above a certain voltage capacity). 4ft is the amount for high voltage wires, which doesn't make sense for lower volts (2,700 volts and up is considered high).

"clear cutting" is outlawed in many areas even though it used to be effective to stop fires from spreading. Thinning is expensive, but more viable than letting fires ravage. They still want mad money to allow a company to go thin, and it require taking a conservationist into the trees with them to mark the trees for them... But we all know conservationists versus people trying to keep the world from burning are 2 different things.

They blame climate change, which isn't untrue. But it isn't the reason for it. He pointed the reasons in the video with the above information added. Its just amazing that they would rather see forests burn than companies that know what they are doing to combat the issue to come in and profit off "their forests." This might be a bit over the line, but I have been dealing with it in all 3 western states since forever. It has just gotten worse with environmentalists taking up roles that combat the people trying to actively fix the problems.

Environmentalists own the politicians. That should explain a lot.

I was trying to be a bit more subtle about it.

It only took 2 weeks to request it, before I got it.

...unlike other areas that take 6+ months, and sometimes require appeals before they're actually approved.

In my experience formerly as a consultant for PG&E and in my current position where we own a lot of properties with PG&E easements running through them, this isnt the case. They have guidelines of clearance they try to keep around lines that are way more than 4 feet (15-20') , perhaps 4' is the minimum requirement though (didnt watch the video linked yet). Plus, they do cut/prune trees that are healthy and not dead or dying. They even have formulas for certain tree species growth rates and if the tree will grow back and require repruning within X-years they will fell the entire tree instead. I have a preserve i help manage and recently PG&E went in and just clear cut healthy trees below their lines because they grow back so fast it exceeded the threshold in their formula.

If you live in Alameda County, I can tell you at least one of those running for BoS is an environmentalist who is no fan of OHV either.

Didn't mean to imply that you were. My intention was to imply they may be be using the constraints you described as an excuse but in reality from what I've seen are not constraints (e.g. they can and do cut live trees). My opinion is they have so much infrastructure and too little man power to maintain it all.

I agree on the failed policy point.
