Host it on Dropbox or google drive or one of the 100 other file sharing services and create a link to it

it’s way easier than trying to attach to posts and link to them

F*ck it. Here's the file if you want to try it. 04B04_Reg_Stock_THX_33 with 2D throtle tables tweaked.
A different approach to a "performance" feeling throttle. I'll figure out how to link it later... Need to learn on my own!

Sorry for BLOWING up the thread today. I think after the training seminars I may need a twelve step program :yay:

It’s all good. This is exactly why vF tuner was created and released!

Hi I need some help with VF tuner s/w, I have the VF tuner s/w downloaded, I have sent my system ID in to OVtune and they sent me the master key. I have entered the master key and the the s/w came back with the system ID screen and all the buttons are grayed out along with no choices in the drop down for the interface ( Tactrix s/w is loaded). I have turned off Window security. What am I missing?

    Thanks

    Hey.

Google gives you 15gb on Drive if you have a Gmail account.

But, sharing has changed a bit and got a bit more complex. If you want some help there, let me know.

Of course, you can just drop the file on here like you did.

You need to send that System ID to OVT to get a REG file. It is separate from the Master Key.

I just sent OV support the system ID for the 2nd time,to get the registration key- I just I got confused between the master key and the registration key, Thanks for your quick response

How long does it typically take for them to turn around registration keys?

    Thanks again

    You're welcome!

As short as a couple days. It could be a week if they're swapped. The file comes from a vendor in the UK.

If the Tactrix was available for purchase, it should be in stock.

What happens if I make 3D adjustments to my liking on one file. 2D adjustments to my liking on another then stack both increased values on the two different tables into one file???

I don't see anything change in the 3d table when I upped the 2d values. Is this "stackable"? Or bad idea???

Neither table is a direct accelerator to throttle map. The ecu uses both maps in its throttle calculation. So I expect they would be “stackable”. Without knowing the formula, best you can do is trial by error and take it slow.

I have only modified the 2D throttle limit maps but intend to eventually modify the 3D airload cap map in the same tune. Try a tune with both modified and let us all know how it goes.

Thanks for the input. I'll give er a go! Have you done the smoothing Mat recommend:
    Airload control - Control Airflow
    Airload control - Expected Airflow

I'm assuming to just do the values he had highlighted and not the entire 800-2000 range across the table?

Have not done it yet. I do not know the function of those tables so I would not go messing outside that range yet.

I have only done shift points and throttle limits, and honestly think I could be happy without touching anything else ever again. But of course I will. I am very interested to look at the timing tables in a SFOB file.

What changes did you make? What was your goal with these changes?

I know Mat said he was unavailable for the next few days, but I'm hoping when he gets back he will elaborate. I was wondering the same thing about smoothing out the whole thing, or just that range.

I'd be interested in seeing the timing, and other changes in the SFOB file as well.
