I’ll probably call that same company and have them come back for another inspection and hope the future buyers are as dumb as we were :anonymous:

There is a crack that has developed in the wall in the basement. I’m REALLY hoping it’s superficial and not structural.

I just had one of these fixed while I was unemployed. I dont know if you have US waterproofing or Permaseal down there, but its $600 for them to seal the cracks with foam and some putty shit with a transferable warranty. Worth the money rather than me attempt to home game it, screw it up and have to call them anyway!

    It’s not bad....yet

but I def want to get it assessed before we put the house on the market. I don’t want that to be one of those “$25k foundation repairs” that you hear about.

    627EA0C5-84EC-4A28-B754-AAD951C73381.jpg

The previous owners sprayed some type of drylok shit and it looks like ass now. It is completely useless. I can guarantee there was absolutely zero waterproofing done on the exterior when the house was built in 1948, which is why the walls piss water when it rains a decent amount.

Definately not buying your house unless you do a $25k foundation repair.... actually just jack the house up, remove all that block and pour a new concrete foundation...:D

Not possible, but I’ll get it repaired soon.

planning on cutting down a big half-dead tree in the front yard too. I need to get some quotes. Hopefully not too expensive.
