    ahh....classic Looney Tunes. The violence and racism went right over my head as a kid. The music made a bigger impression on me - and I'm probably not the only one. Whole generations exposed to all of the great composers without even knowing they were being taught to appreciate such things.

    No plumber will come out in less than 3 weeks. The expense is going to be in the trenching, not the plumbing. But they are all busy.
    I am never included in the word 'gentleman'.

    3 major fires around me, closest is to the north. But the wind shifted and we are clear again. The cable co is coming out tomorrow so hopefully we have internet. The wife wants to stay up here and telecommute for a while.

    Fires back home too. The majority of the drive home will be in smoke. 940 miles.

    classic and even opera. dont listen to it much anymore to be honest but every once in a while i'll be somewhere and there will be some random music playing that will trigger a memory of bugs bunny or elmer fudd.

    when i was in high school i went on a class trip....all arts related. museums, theatre, symphony, etc. i wasn't so excited about the plays at first but once we were there i was completely enthralled. i loved it. and i think it was because of the cartoons and the action paired with the music. loved it. something i dont get too much here in MT.

    I was never much of a theater person. Then I meet my wife. Her kids were very active in theater in high school. Her son Creg went on to college for acting. He now has a Masters Degree. Seen quite of few of the shows he was in, both plays and musicals. He is very talented.
