Special ordered Tacoma made in Mexico?

FYi as of May 2020 all Tacoma’s are made in Mexico no more Texas USA & before that some still came from Mexico now all if it has a 3 in the beginning of the Vin it’s from Mexico if there is a 5 it’s from USA hope that helps

Well apparently I cant get political here but ill say this..... I prefer to buy made and sold in America products

 

All the Frontiers are built in Mississippi, just so you know.

Basically order truck with package a,b,c or d and if they are going to make it before the end of the year u can have one.

FYI I’ve “ordered” 2 cars recently from Toyota and I had to choose from Package a,b,c or d.
The other fluff can be added by dealer or port.

 

Amazon is primarily a distributor and not a manufacturer (with few exceptions) so a bit difficult to make this comparison. When it comes to LEAN manufacturing and minimizing waste I would absolutely argue that Toyota is a leader in this area.

 

But it’s Toyota USA????

Can you even get a OR with a manual transmission? Maybe I'm wrong but my understanding is that to get a manual you have to get the sport. So if you can supposedly custom build your own truck why aren't there OR's and Pro's driving around with manuals?

 

Get a 2020 ,us built, and make it your last.

 

Some makers even allow you to pick whatever color from any other maker. Aka you can order a BMW with a Lamborghini paint color. The European delivery is sadly going away now

Special ordering Tacoma is like special ordering In-N-Out burger. You can special order all you want but you only get three options, hamburger, cheeseburger or double cheeseburger, lol.
