13wl tundra brakes, they are almost too powerful the first few stops of the day with the rotors cold on stock tires

The rear drums' adjustment has a lot to do with how the entire system works too

On my 95 Tacoma I had them set wrong and the foot nor e brake did a damn thing just pedal to the floor with no resistance to rolling, had to throw it in neutral coast for a bit and slam it in park to get it to stop, tightened up the drums and it stopped hard

I've done a mod or two
You don't just lose braking power, vacuum boosters have 2-5 good pumps in them before its a leg workout. You could hold that first pump all day if you wanted. If you're so uncoordinated that you cant restart your engine without using the rest of your vacuum then maybe you deserve an automatic trans.

Care to recommend a WiFi / Bluetooth for the motherboard @BartMaster1234 - I see lots with good reviews but not sure if there’s one better than the best reviewed on I found on parts picker

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HF8K0O6?th=1&psc=1

there’s well reviewed one for $29-35 too... not sure what the differences are in the real world and no I’m not doing Ethernet for work and I’m not gaming so I need WiFi

Instead of getting an add-on card for wifi & bluetooth, just get a motherboard with it built in.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0876J8436 - $30 more than the motherboard you have selected, assuming it's still the MSI Z490 one for $169.99.

Any WiFi card will work, as long as it’s a modern WiFi standard which most will be. But @xtremewlr ’s suggestion of inbuilt WiFi is a really good one.

Can we get a mod to check IP addresses? I'm pretty certain @Running Board Man is just trolling us and he's actually this guy from the younger years of TW:rofl:

What are specs to look for as far as it being a modern up to date one?

I read a. It’s better to buy a separate one that you can upgrade and plugs into the pcie and b. The ones that come with a motherboard aren’t soldered in so they are removeable and potentially upgradeable too.

Made it seem like getting a separate one would work more easily if I keep the computer for a long time and need to upgrade over that time, although my computer I’ve had for 7 years doesn’t seem to have a problem to keep up with data transfer speed either.

WiFi 6 is the latest and greatest, so if you get in built, at least get that. Other than that, I'd just get a pci card for the upgradability reason.

Then again, I gigabit ethernet all the things anyway.

Don't know if you followed the quote back to it's original thread but that thread was labeled something like "CHALLENGE: what's the best budget lift price" and the guy said this

Almost as good as the guy that welded up his own "long travel kit" with angle iron:rofl:
