East Central. I do not get up North much. I go up to Orland every few years where our sister company is.

Wasn't me. Its been 20 years since I went through Connersville. Took some girls from Lawrence north in Indy down to Brookville for the weekend. I tried to tell my buddy to go 52, but he had his mind made up. Heck of a weekend. LoL

Good looking rigs and updates! I'll be out and about Friday and Saturday - weather is supposed to be beautiful. Wave if you see me. If anyone is a coffee drinker, the first ones on me.

Those 295s look meaty! Look quite a bit larger than the 285 K02s. Did you have to do any additional trimming? I plan to do a 285 when I get my 6112/5160s. Anyone got a CMC guy around here??

    Thanks, mate!

Yes, quite a bit more trimming, primarily because my rims are -12 offset. I did my CMC in Arkansas (I have homes in both states). I don't know anyone in the area, but I would recommend contacting a reputable welding place. Buy the plates and any decent welding place should be able to do it, and probably cheaper than a professional auto place. That's exactly what I did.

I know they are probably scattered among the trees, but I have a fanTAStic welder/fabricator.

Chase McCombs, in Connersville. Dude is a freaking WIZARD.

Great guy. If you are in East Central or Central Indiana/West Central Ohio and need some welding, he is the guy to go to. Does most, if not all of our welding at the farm.

I've only talked to him once, and I was sold. Dude is good, honest and works hard.

new Tacoma owner as of a couple months ago. Up in Fort Wayne. First truck on top of it being a Tacoma. Just now found out its been regeared w. 5.29 nitro gears and has a lift kit on it. So I'd say I got a good deal lol. Just listed the Leer cap for sale in case there's any Hoosiers out there lookin for one.20200811_205329.jpg

5.29 gears with those tires? That seems overkill

    welcome!

The guy before me built the truck to be his overland truck and wore the last tires out. dealership put brand new tires on it before I bought it so im guessing last guy had some nice ones on it and the dealership didnt want to pay to replace the kind he had.

It’s really not that bad. There’s people who have swapped to 4.88s running the factory tires. It puts the AT ratios pretty close to what’s in the MT so it drives way better and you can actually use gears 5/6.

5.29s and 33s is what a lot of guys are running.

    South East?

If you head north a bit, you'll find Haspin Acres. West of you is Redbird SRA.

South is Dirty Turtle and Land Between the Lakes (LBL)

Between those 4, you should be able to find a trail you like.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
Quading at Haspin Acres later today.
