Anyone happen to have a Tacoma size toolbox they want to get rid of? Preferably a low profile slim one.

I’m going to replace mine with a Cam Locker box this fall. I’ll sell you mine if you’re interested. The struts are worn out in them and will need to be replaced.

Mornin' Murph! Cam Locker doesn't make an angled bottom truck box like UWS does. From the looks of it, the Cam locker will have less storage space than my UWS. And my UWS is already full with survival, recovery and emergency gear.

I've been considering one for a full size truck when I get one. Friend of mine is a dealer and I can get one for $5 above their cost (cost of shipping for them).

I had a toolbox on my 1st gen with the angled sides. It's was ok, just wish they had more room in them.

I under geared the first time so i dont want you to make same mistake lol. You'd be surprised at how well the truck will perform once you regear. My truck would be undrivable if i didn't regear lol.

No I sure dont wanna undergear and do this twice, I regeraed my old 4cyl tp 5.29 and it was amazing i know this could be better. Im worried if I did 4.88 id be overgeared and have to move to 35, I should just learn to be happy with these 285. What brand gear did you go with? I had motive but may get nitro.

youd be fine since your trans is a 5 speed? Mines a little low driving at hwy speeds but mines only a 4 speed.

joking. I have the UWS low profile with the angles. I don't see the point of them doing that. I wish i had just a little bit more room in mine
