Did you crank the fronts up all the way? Looks real good! Are those 265/75/16's?

Thanks. Prob around 2” up front. Didn’t want to max it out. 265 yeah, I’ll be getting 285 once these wear down.

Anyone know the lead times on these? Seems like they're not in stock anywhere.

Has anybody gone from 6112 shocks to 8112s? The truck is paid off and I'm looking to get something better for the suspension. I have 6112,5160 and ome Dakar springs. I'd like something a little smoother on bad roads and trails.

They are available on Amazon but the price is ridiculously marked up. Have you called Bilstein directly ?

I talked to Bilstein directly about a month ago. They are out. Fronts due sometime in August, rears 2-4 weeks after that.

I was able to find what appear to have been the last set available in the country after calling everyone I could think of. Found one remaining set of 8112s at Headstrong and one remaining set of 8100s at Down South. Got super lucky.

Installed everything myself a few weeks back with SPC UCAs and Eibach 650lb coils (already had a custom Alcan leaf pack), and I am stoked! After a ~100 mile break-in period, they are nice and smooth. Since they are digressive they don't do a whole lot on small stuff - you actually feel road noise more, and small rock/root chatter on trails. This is especially true for my rig since I'm running E-range tires. But airing down takes care of that. And for the medium to large hits, the 8112/8100 combo is simply awesome, both off and on road. What's a speed bump again? :)

I find the combo of airing down for chatter reduction and 8112/8100 for soaking up larger bumps to be exactly what I was looking for. I'm not hardcore crawling or anything, I just spend a lot of time tooling around 4x4 passes in the Colorado high country. This is the best upgrade I've made besides the Vagabond Outdoors Drifter wedge camper. Highly recommend.

I've got a set on order and patiently awaiting their arrival. Your review seems pretty honest and I can't wait to experience them myself! I too am going with 650lb coils due to sliders and full steel skid plates.

I have a set on order. I've seen some Amazon and EBay vendors claim they have stock, but with higher prices. The difference in cost to me is about $400-500, which is fairly significant, so it might be best to just wait.

Ebay can have some good deals if you can catch them fast enough...

I just ordered the 8112's from another Ebay seller who listed them in stock, but after purchase they informed me they were drop-shipped from Bilstein and back-ordered. They offered me a credit for the inconvenience and they ended up being $1700 shipped.

I did. Night and day difference especially from 5160 to 8100s. You won’t be disappointed. You’ll feel a huge difference when offroading and aired down to 10psi. You’ll find out why the suspension is much more expensive than the 6112/5160s especially if you truck is carry a lot of weight like armor etc

I'm running the SPC adjustable UCAs with the 8112/8100 combo and I like 'em. Aluminum front bumper, sliders, Vagabond Drifter camper, and I went 700lb springs, very happy with them.

They cost me about $650, but that was in 2016. Not sure what they go for today. Mine have held up great, I highly recommend Alcan.

Anyone gone long enough with these and had to service the oil and seals? How many miles and how much offroading estimated during that time?

I'm running #650 springs without additional weight in the front. I've paired them with Deavers stage 2. I do have some Cali Raised sliders & put on the skids when Off-Roading (no sense in keeping them on a daily)
