Ya, those racks are pretty tough, if there's no leaks or failure points it should be good. IDK what that rack is worth but I'm betting not cheap, mind you nothing about this hobby is cheap!! :bananadead:

I think I'm about to pull the trigger on the rock sliders and body lift

The oem rack is $1500ish. Could spend a bit more and go tundra rack that a member offers. Just debating on doing that for spare parts. I’m assuming it would just be seals, but still....nice to go to the part store, junk yard or dealer to get parts. Hard to do that with custom shit.

sliders and body kit are neat. As you said. Hobby is money!

    ummm .....ya.
I'd be down for that Ganaraska (spelling) thingy if you guys are planning one for this fall. I used to sled there all the time back in the 90's when I lived in the GTA. My lift kit might be installed by then...

Could just run an extension cord off your holiday plug (if you have one)

or get one of these and run if off your outside lights depending how much you use them lol

Caution, the light fixture may not sustain the higher current of a block heater. Light bulbs typically top out at 100W. Block heaters are, what, 900W?

Just use a block heater timer, like this cheap one from CT: https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/noma-block-heater-timer-1-outlet-0528835p.html

The wiring and breaker can handle 15 amps. The lamp socket may not, since typical light bulbs don't draw anywhere close to that power.

Lot of lamp fixtures don't like bulbs over 60w and some 100w. I would use an extension cord.

    Pictures of said hole?

Rokblokz XL provides max tire clearance, but has no overlap with the fender flare or fender liner

    I went with Rockblokz XL

    https://rokblokz.com/products/toyota-tacoma-mud-flaps-2016

They are like this flat flexible plastic that is supposed to be unbreakable , nothing for the tires to grab...

They don't really cover the inside of the wheel well area as much as the stock ones.
in fact they cover the inner part of the front, less to make more room for bigger tires.

    How the Rokblokz XL mounts:

    ffSFCYYdsT3x9kQndaqjcodusxXR8h0_xR8jczhO_75d4c224da0d36bb7eb388f1a68e3f129a76fad4.jpg

The lower hole uses an L-bracket and a well nut to attach to the cab mount. All supplied hardware is stainless.
