What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I believe there to be enough room between the lightbar and winch to not have to relocate the control box.

Love the bed mat! Was included when I purchased the truck and frankly wouldn't have thought of getting one at the time.

It's already saved the bed from some pieces of flagstone I've hauled. Very happy with it.

 

But who wants to air down on the daily?

That's what I'm doing wrong. I'm pushing in and pulling out

 

Finally cleaned up the accessory wiring. The Overland Equipped Auxiliary Power Kit fit perfectly. Next step will be adding a @CaliRaisedLed relay mount to get those better organized.

 

I installed the same fuse box, except I just drilled it into the plastic fuse box housing that's next to the battery.

I also attached each relay the same way, just screwed onto the fuse box housing. Super simple and easy.

 

Pulled the OEM running boards today. Now I have to find a good set of 25o offset single kickout sliders.

 

Looks great-- I took mine off almost immediately. Once I saw how they were attached to the body it was an easy decision. I snagged some CaliRaised sliders: 2005-2020 TOYOTA TACOMA TRAIL EDITION ROCK SLIDERS

Went with no kickouts, bolt on powder coated. They seem like they are super low profile too: (I'll post when I pick them up in Ft. Worth and when I install)

 

Upgraded from 600lb to 700lb springs for my Kings, since I installed the Victory Strike steel bumper and Warn winch ( ~150lbs total).

 

The picture on the left is EXACTLY what Im looking for.

Glad I saw this---- I ordered same bumper. How does it ride up front now?

 

If you end up driving out to Texas to get them--- I'll buy the beers lol. They ship for 150 I think.

 

It rode fine with the 600 springs, but definitely compressed more and rubbed a bit under load, off-road -- when it didn't before the bumper was installed. I have not yet taken it off-road with the 700s, but I can already feel a difference - as I have hit some driveways at speed to get a feel of it. It doesn't help that all the National Forests in CA have been temporarily closed, so I will need to find some local trails for testing. I will comment back here when I can go hit something for real.
