I had been searching for a couple months to find the "right" truck. The truck market is pretty crazy right now, not sure if it is isolated to just here in Southern California. This truck is immaculate, a 2014 TRD 4x4 with Icon 2.5's. I just had the Icon's adjusted an inch higher and had it realigned. I also had it inspected prior to the purchase and it passed with flying colors. I have already started a list of parts that I need (want), I am sure that comes as no surprise to other seasoned off-roaders in this community. I restored the headlights, as they were faded on the top third area. The previous owner did a horrible job at restoring them with what looked like a super abrasive pad. I am a photographer for work and pleasure, so I am really looking forward to getting out in this truck and getting some photographs after these fires die down. The previous owner gave me the bed mounts for a pop up tent, not sure if I will go that direction though. I am designing some retro looking TRD graphics for the bedsides that I am pumped to get on. I am excited to learn more about this truck and meet other like minded people here in TacomaWorld. Have a great weekend!

They are adjustable from 0"-3" and they were set at about 1.5" when I bought the truck. It sat level, but they way that the front fenders are shaped, it appeared like the front was lower than the rear. I adjusted them 1" up, and the ride maintained the same feel as before.

Yeah those fenders do give it that SoCal prerunner look. I always like reverse rake. Looks super good IMO. What mods are you thinking first? Rock sliders, Bed Rack, Cab Rack, lights, armor, stereo?

I agree, I have always been a sucker for this "stance." I am getting intake & exhaust next so that I can have some fun noises while tooling around town.

I have my eyes on a couple different front bumpers and skid plates, and some rock sliders as well.

I just ordered all that. I actually did K&N and then MBRP XP Turn down exhaust. Hated the loud high pitch sucking from the cold air so I returned it and only have the Exhaust. Honestly I might swap the muffler but I did like the deep sound it provides. This bumper is what I settled with and Rock Trail sliders from CaliRaised.

I'll start a build thread probably this weekend or next week. I also should take more pics when I install stuff.

Wow, looks really good man! I actually love the sounds that an intake system creates, and I am more skeptical of the exhaust.

I want something more subtle with minimal drone. There are days when I love how quiet it is with the stock setup, but more often than not, I find myself wanting a little noise from the exhaust. In my experience, having a turndown creates a lot of drone. How has it been for you?

That bumper looks really good! Definitely something in the style that I personally gravitate toward. What model bumper is that?

Drone to me isn't awful but the muffler is basically a straight pipe. The Tacoma already has a cold air intake. the K&N literally was so high pitch when it sucked I couldn't stand it myself. I will change the muffler soon tho it's not a hard swap. Probably a Borla XS or something subtle. I wanted downturn for clearance on the trails and I like not seeing it

The pic of the bumper is from the site, mine will look similar eventually :)

You got it. You could also just keep stock and chop it before rear axel. No one else sells a turndown kit that’s 3”. So this is the best option then swapping the muffler

    Thank you!

I will probably have a few mock ups and I will make a new post to get some feedback. Cheers!
