I've seen lots of folks go this route, is there an actual thread for it or did someone outline it deep in the annals of THIS thread.....

Live in Sacramento CA surrounded by fires and bad smokey air. Checked the Cabin Filter time for a new on. Also changed the house AC filter. That small stuff in cabin filter is ash. Tried to blow off patio and walkway all I created is toxic cloud will use the hose and wash it off. Bad fires and smoke on full length of west coast.

There's a lot of ash in there for sure but it also looks as there maybe a half a squirrel and a quarter of a mouse somewhere in there!

You ever have any cons running that load extension off the hitch? I’ve been thinking about picking one up for hauling around my ladders from time to time. I would probably cut down a dune flag or something just for a little extra visibility but it would definitely work better for my 30 foot.

The weight capacity is 375. I was carrying only 200, so that wasn't an issue. The green terry cloth rags on the back were for attention...didn't have anything brighter although I looked. I was actually pleasantly surprised. What your looking at there is 12', I'm guessing your 30 footer is another 4 ft? That's out there quite a ways.

If it were me and I had something longer than the truck, I'd go for a front receiver and and put "T's" taller than the cab in both the front and back and carry it that way.

Looks like they changed that battery: mine is a little over 4 years old, same toyota label and 84 month warranty label but shows 710 CCA. I just had it load tested yesterday and it showed it still puts out 667 CCA so the shop said it is in very good shape. It has 39K miles on it.

Finally got black door handles. I’m getting the itch for some better bigger tires now...

Picked up some wiring harness clamps. They are cheap ($1 something a piece).
I cut the ones at the bottom of my fuse box and will use these to secure the wires I'm adding plus the factory wires that are already there.

Thanks! When I bought it I was thinking of swapping them out when I get new tires. But they have grown on me a lot. Dig not having an all black wheel.

Refi'd my 2014 sr5 today. Bought at 60k miles 3 years ago, has 100k now. It appreciated in value however much my tax and fees were + 550$. Extended my term a little and paid off my credit cards in full. Feels good. Got a .5% lower rate and it only cost 100$.
