What are you people doing over the weekend? The GF and I are going to some sunflower festival thing somewhere in NH tomorrow.

Saturday evening/Sunday I'm going to try to get the floor cut and welded in place!

I've got 6 cords of firewood to be stacked, that is currently sitting on a driveway that's going to be re-graded and graveled any day now. No time to waste. If anyone is looking for something to do...

Tomorrow's "road day" for the camp road. Since it's a private road all of the residents get together and spend a day doing maintenance like trimming brush, grading, mowing, chipping, marking/moving obstacles for plow season, etc. Those of us with tractors & string trimmers putter away at it all summer long, but throwing 20 people at it for the day gets a lot done.
Then I've also got a tree job to do, taking down a leaner that has grown up against a garage and is damaging the eave. So that'll be a couple of hours, either Saturday if we finish early or Sunday if we don't.

Plus my Flowmaster is supposed to be waiting when I get home today, according to FedEx. So that'll be on the agenda this weekend as well.

Pass. I already cut, split & stacked my 6 cord for the house this year, plus another 2+ of pine, down at camp.

My back hurts just looking at that... No thank you!
We live on a private road, and it gets pretty bumpy. My neighbor across the street has a cool little metal rake thing he adds weight to and drags behind his quad, but since he's the only one with equipment for the road, no one else pitches in. He's changed his approach this season to "fuck it, someone else can do it"

I plan on contributing snow plowing for our road this winter, so that's my contribution! Hopefully my little 20R doesn't let us down! (though I have a lead on some Fisher parts for the F-250 through one of our suppliers). I might grab an 8-9' minute mount for the Ferd. I'm hopeful that the little 82 will do it though!

There's three or four of us with CUT's and enough of a mix of blades & York rakes that we keep it in pretty good shape. And then the same # of us have plows, but the association pays a contractor to handle the bulk of it because everybody with a plow truck also works a normal job. He covers the storms, and then we knock back any drifts that form between storms.

If you plow with the storms, you shouldn't have any trouble. But if you get a 2 footer and let it pile up first....All bets are off.

    What about the joker?

    But seriously, man..blackjack

A brief stop at my niece's 30th party. I don't care to be around groups of people nowadays especially when alcohol is involved, too risky. Going to run over early for an hour though.

Getting Ozzy's vet visit done. He has ringworm which I confirmed at a different vet Tuesday with the visual and light checks. I'm thinking it came from a vet visit several weeks prior at the usual place and if so there's gonna be asses beaten.

Try to get to Foxboro for the Sober Camel Shop.

    Otherwise, football and masturbation

Do you deal from a shoe?

Plus, lest we forget the most important thing to do this weekend...Patriots season opener!
I'm curious to see what Belichick can do with a mobile quarterback, but it's not going to be the same watching them line up without TB12 out there. Basically my entire adult life we've had Brady, it's going to be sort of surreal without him

    Holy F,
That is a beautiful pile of wood.

But I think your schedule is off a bit.
Couldn't the wood wait until the driveway was done?

You have your 1's and 0's mixed up!

Same here. It's a balance between working 12 hour days 7 days a week and staying somewhat afloat or enjoying my evenings and weekends but being super far behind on everything. Either way I am thinking an awful lot lately that I don't make enough for this kind of stress. Something has to change eventually.

This would only really be used for games with more than one deck in play, so not useful for poker really

Great bottle to use in 2020

Nice, I was at Waterfront in July.

Actually a real casino uses a plastic "cut" card and one to cover the bottom of the stack..think I need to get some
