Yeah, I have a lower kit that I've had shelved for my "PDW" build for like 18 months. Just never could convince myself spend the rest of the monies for the upper and a stripped lower to finish it...

it's all about what's in stock. PSA does pretty good job with theirs. I wouldn't bring them to a competition, but if you're looking for something fun, a hunting or even defense rig, they're a solid bet.

roommate finished a 6.5 grendel build recently and that gun is a hoot. Ammo For it is a b**** though

Yeah, I built a .300 rifle that wasn't too bad for ammo. The PDW I cooked up to build would be a pistol lower with a 12.7x42 upper.
You know, in case a bear breaks in......

I've been looking a bit at 6.5 Creedmoor, but haven't given 6.5 Grendel any consideration due to availability (I know that they are totally different). I am all about the NATO rounds: 5.56x45, 7.62x39, and 7.62x51 (or .308 depending on the gun, no they aren't the same, but my one of my .308 rifles will safely fire and cycle 7.62x51).

Time for me to go to bed, impromptu surgery went really well and then really not well, but I got myself home so. Night night.

9mm is our family round of choice for handguns. I've always wanted a 9mm carbine, I guess now is as good a time as any. I do really like 7.62x39 though lol.

I picked up a Ruger PC Carbine last fall. Great rifle that uses Glock mags.

I'll keep an eye out. Do you have a budget? Color matching with the rarest color is not going to happen though.

Really? Don't think they can color match? That's pretty disappointing.
