    So,
I have finally wore out my stock Goodyear's and wanted advice on new rubber.

I have 265/70R16 - I want to keep my stock rims but go bigger.

    2- questions
    • What is max size I can go on stock rims? Thinking 265/75/16 - Any thoughts?
    • What tire would you recommend for 80% highway travel?
    • Looking at:
    1. Falken Wildpeak AT3W
    2. BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2
    Thanks!

    80% highway travel

    Easy Michelin Defender LTX

It's not the most sexy looking tire. It's basically the New Balance of Tacoma tires

would you recommend those for strictly parks, camping, etc use?
my Tacoma's parked 6 days out of a week, and I only use it for 1 day trip to the park or trail on forest service roads

Get some beefy MTs. If you don't have to worry about putting mileage on them or the MPG hit as you only drive it one day a week...:D:D

If not an MT (would definitely be overkill, but cool nonetheless), definitely get an all-terrain tire. Falkens are probably the cheapest out of the bunch and do well offroad and in snow.

You will not be dissapointed with 265/75/16 ko2s. Excellent all around tire and silent on the hwy, just sucks you cant get C load in 16".

No C load in 265/65/17 either, gotta go 265/70/17.
Also others mention that KO2s are bad in rain, just how bad are they? If one drives reasonably

Km3 or Cooper stt pro. You’ll be fine with 265/75. Plenty of people run 35s on factory wheels. A small lift and 285/75 would look much better than 265’s though.

Didnt know that no c load in 265/65/17, interesting.

My 2 sets of ko2s are amazing in the rain, i dont know wtf people are talking about. Go drive with duratracs on wet roads and you will know whats bad.

They were horrible on my ranger. After i had worn out my pirelli scirpions atr i installed duratracs. I was shocked to say the least. My 4 year old scorpions were better in the rain. I had 265/75/16 E load.

They were amazing in the snow though, i couldnt belive how far i could go in 2WD.
