That's an evil evil looking creature! I'd eat it. :hungry:

I hear you just keep them in fresh water, cleaned daily, and not feed them and they flush themselves out of waste.

Thanks for the warm welcome bro! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the beach and it definitely has changed the experience of what has been a life long spot for me and my family to disconnect and get some R&R! Driving out there was awesome and it helps having a perfectly capable truck to enjoy it in! I look forward to the love here on Maryland Forum and TW!

Yea, the shore is really nice. We try to go every year if possible. Some people don't like OC but we love it down there. Grew up going so it's in our blood. Not a fan of those flies on that island though, I have to admit.

Do you live down that way?

I live in Frederick County, Md but my family has a house just off of Chincoteague. So were down several weekends a year. This is the first time ive been brave enough to get my permit and drive on the beach. Next up is surf fishing gear! We watched a few guys haul in some decent sharks and that was so awesome to watch! Im a pretty avid waterfowl hunter but have never gotten into surf fishing.

Hello, it's me, the fisherman who is afraid to get in to hunting (specifically for waterfowl) because he has too many expensive hobbies :D

Yup..I'm the same way. I fish the Chesapeake constantly and I fish offshore from OC when I can. I travel to fish sometimes. I like things that go bang. I like my ATV. My Tundra gets love sometimes. The list goes on. Don't want it to get out of control though. Owning a boat is a hole in the water to throw money in to, but I don't know what I'd do without one.

Oh cool, we have peeps on here in Frederick County, and a couple "self proclaimed" great fisherman. :D

yea, when I was younger I lived in Virginia and there were places to ride on the beach back then. I've also been to Daytona. I guess because unless you're raised driving on beaches it just seems so unnatural, and that makes it a lot of fun. I would love to camp on a beach but not on that island with those flies. I suppose January or February they wouldn't be so bad. I use to hunt a lot too when I was younger. Not any more. A many a morning I would be out in that field trying to set up decoys in frozen corn/soy fields with a massive hangover. Afternoons in field pits with other hunters pissing into the corner. Man, I don't miss any of those days. Now I live int he country and can practically hand feed the deer they are so close to the house. I shoot them with my camera now.

Here's a young boy chasing his younger sibling away this morning. And a shot from yesterday morning helping me weed the garden.
