The set appears to include more than 20 minifigures, including several who are appearing in minifigure form for the first time. Two notables are Doctor Cornelius Evazan and Ponda Baba, who didn’t “like” Luke. Others minifigures include the famous cantina band, Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes, the bartender Wuher, Labria, Greedo, Momaw Nadon, the Imperial Spy Garindan, two Sandtroopers, a Jawa, and the usual cast of heroes Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2. Interestingly, the set also appears to include Lak Sivrak, a pointy-eared Shistavanen who only appeared in the film’s original cut, not the Special Edition where he was digitally replaced by Ketwol.

    Anyone use Bricklink?

I have a problem with the autoselect.

When attempting to 'buy' all items in a wish list, does anyone know how to avoid 'auto select' from choosing over the number of items in the list?

For example, I bought an MOC off Rebrickable that includes 2122 pieces. I loaded these pieces in a new Wanted List on Bricklink then hit buy. When I hit 'autoselect', it finds 2320 pieces.

I don’t want to have to manually adjust it. Using the tabs by the parts list doesn’t seem to help.

Thanks in advance for any assistance :hattip:

Go into that wishlist and hit the "Buy all" button on the right, this will take you to a screen where you can choose by individual shop. You can filter out for region, if stores can't meet your minimum quantity per lot (brick type), and such. Stores will sort by how many lots they can fulfill in your order, and you can preview the price at this screen as well. I highly recommend doing this, some stores price stuff very questionably. You can also choose to deselect certain bricks from a store from this interface.

In general, best to try to use as few stores as possible to save shipping, which can rack up very quickly otherwise. I used the "auto select" option early on without knowing better and got bit - it chose great lot prices but used a large amount of stores. Ended up paying a crapload in shipping.

Another tip: if you want new bricks be sure to change that in the wishlist. Select the bricks, hit the Condition button at the top, and select New. Otherwise it might be a crapshoot on what you get.

Thank you for the info and time to write it up.

Like you said, auto select has it’s cons. I use it as a first pass and adjust from there. I’m just stuck when I get more results than the model calls for.

With Lego now owning Bricklink, I hope they add some features to make this process easier esp with editing carts and breaking down what’s in the model and anything added. Linking in Pick-A-Brick for new pieces would be terrific.

You're welcome, hopefully it was somewhat useful.

I haven't found a Bricklink method that isn't convoluted in some way, particularly for larger builds. Auto select tends to find too many parts, the way I described often has you looking for those last three or so bricks without paying outrageous parts cost or shipping.

It'd be nice if Lego improved things, but I guess I don't have that much confidence. Just look at the state of their own website. Its one of the glitchiest that I visit.

I loved that build. Need to get over to the Lego store end of this month and grab the bookstore. How was that build?
