Nah man I can't this year. It's totally different from the first yr.

Probably a Smittybilt, since a lot of folks run them with no problems. I do want a wireless controller though, so I'll go that route if I can.

 

i have the x20 comp it's been pretty good so far but since someone posted these in the you don't need a 8k lb winch thread I'm going to upgrade soon.

Went with chassisunlimited front and rear. Smitty 10k synthetic with wireless remote & 30" curved led which I'll probably never use just want it installed all at same time.

Rear - I'll put on myself but front I'm gonna need help lifting hah

 

That's a sweet looking winch. Looks so simple. I like simple though.

 

Yea I really wish I would’ve got a wireless remote, I remounted my control box under the hood for a cleaner look and wireless would’ve been awesome.

That sounds like a great setup I’ve never seen their bumpers? Yea with a winch they get heavy I had the help of a forklift and pallets and a hand for a minute but it was still a bitch.

Rear there isn't pictures, so I negotiated a deal on bumpers in return I take pictures. If I end up not liking I'll go with my previous choice of c4 fab and just sell them. I'll admit the front is a bit modern (that the word?) for my liking but who knows.

 

Have you seen where a garage door opener started a wireless winch and bent up the front bumper? I have a wireless but turned it off after seeing that.

 

Wow, that's crazy! I'll have to remember to turn that off. And a battery disconnect switch too. I tend to keep all things off until I need them.

 

That looks really flat/close to the front of the truck. You'll really stand out with that on, but I like it.

I've been looking at winches lately since I ordered a front bumper. I am leaning on getting a Smittybilt X20. Southern Style said that fits the bumper no problem. Probably get a Factor 55 Flatlink and tree saver as well. I don't want to deal with the hook.
