Found the cause of my mystery noise. Both UCAs were completely loose. You could move the tire side to side and watch the UCA pivot. :anonymous:

Isn’t step 1 of suspension noise troubleshooting to check everything is torqued to spec?

Literally checked every bolt in the fender well except the UCA one. Never expected it to come lose.:rofl:

Edit. Also whats a torque wrench ? I would have had to take the brake line brackets loose on both sides for that to happen. Psshhh.

Maybe you need to get some more rust on the bolts. Does a good job of keeping things from coming loose

Holy moly Andy is alive ! Our teal season started last weekend. Attempted to hunt the circus known as Rend Lake, but lost out at every spot I found them at. Think MO starts tomorrow.

I'll be camping at your stomping grounds tomorrow evening. LBL.

Thanks! Feels good trolling the last 5 months worth of posts lol
That stinks, I know thats a popular place though. It does but unfortunately I'll be lucky to be done with house stuff by Thanksgiving so doubt I'll be doing much this year in the way of hunting unfortunately.

Lots of good memories camping down at LBL, need to get the wife and kids down there next spring.
You're welcome to put in an offer lol but i make no promises it will be accepted

I hate to have to push it off to crunch time before Rendezvous, but would anyone be able to help cut and put my bumper on the truck either October 3rd or the weekend of the 10th?

Hoping to have the remainder put together in the next two weeks.

Any recommendations on 3rd party brands of headlights? Tacomabeast has a few, but im not sure of the reputations of the brands.

Oem has better light output. I had aftermarket headlights but the output was shitty and I put my factory lights back in

If you want light output, spend your money on rigid ditch lights and fog lights. You could do both for less than a set of headlights and have way better output

lighting is definitely a “you get what you pay for” both in terms of output and longevity

Agreed. When it comes to headlights, factory is best. "Oem" style eBay/Amazon headlights are garbage. I need to look into better fog lights
