My wife is 5'0". At least for the current 5010 they show 5'1"-5'5" for the S and 4'8"-5' for the XS.

Same here in Colorado. Hang in there, I’m assuming we will have clear days. Although I’m even paranoid on clear sky days when one of the bad fires is just 40 miles from me. Sucks! Every day here has been different smoke and ash wise for the last month. We should count our blessings. So many have lost everything and even some have lost their lives. Oregon is reporting loss of life just yesterday. California is worse than both of us.

I agree. I know a ton of people taking in family and friends that have been evacuated or lost everything. This is the worst fire year that I can remember.

No. They need regular service. There are hour intervals and time intervals. Seals fail.

Man this thread moves fast. Saw this [not much] earlier and meant to comment. This is a sweet bike. If you fit this or your honey, or you want to get your honey into the sport. This is the bike to start her on. Top notch stuff at a budget price. Basically new top end bike. I say go for it. If I was in that situation, I’d jump on this.

I think he’s talking about when going over the pass. With my ol’ 4 banger Nissan hardbody I was constantly bouncing between 2nd/3rd gear. So yea, not much more than 35mph going up either side.

Yes, I knew he was talking about going over the pass. I as well had a 4-banger 22R in a Toyota truck years ago that had same power issue going over the pass. I just wanted him to know that the newer 6 cylinder has zero issues that way. I towed a 12’ Uhaul trailer fully loaded from San Diego to Northern Colorado. Went over the pass near the Grand Canyon through 2’ of fresh unplowed snow with ease. I was amazed the power of the newer V6 had compared to my old 4-cylinder or even my old gen 6-cylinder 4-Runner I had.

I knew it wouldn’t last long. So you were paid to own it a year and a half, can’t beat that.

Ultimately, owning it ended up costing us....

Yikes! Is there a story behind that? Hope she’s on a speedy recovery.

Edit: I like her right shoe.

Yes. AB 32T. Smooths power delivery, but I don't think it's a drastic change. I swap between round and oval regularly (one on each bike) and I don't think I can say it's that noticeable. I will say though, that if you're running a Shimano clutched rear derailleur, I'd stay away from it. Shimano has a friction based clutch, and that constant pulsing can wear them out faster.

Sorry to hear that man. I came up to SLC and the wind that came with it destroyed a lot of the trails too. Happens...

Small is the right size. Don't go by the site's numbers and suggestions, go by fit.

well doesn’t matter now, and yeah we’d need to test fit before committing to something like that. But last time we tried to find her a bike the only ones that fit were XS.

I am officially tubeless. Install was very easy, seated both tires with floor pump.
