i used some 75lb strength magnets as drilling and bolting was awkward/not feasable.

Of course not, why would I think of something so obvious....:angrygirl:. Going to adjust that this morning and see how it clears.

I think I will end up moving to the pillar mounts. Eventually I want to go over to the Methwater and set the controller on the steering column.

I really like that TRD Boost gauge. I can't imagine ever having my setup going greater than 10#.

Same here. I have the stock tensioner with no slipping. I have the 70 inch on 2.3 and NST overdrive kit.

That sounds about right. I had an 03' TRD Offroad when got back from deployment mid-2006 and dropped about $5k or so into adding the TRD blower, 7th injector, and that TRD gauge. Later added the TRD headers and catback. Gauge and blower were still working great when I sold the truck to a guy who flew in from Minnesota 3 yrs ago. Was a very reliable setup.

with all this talk of 2.8’s I’d like to see what numbers 2.5 and 2.3’s are putting down. I have a 2.5 I was going to put on but have been on the fence due to all the heat issues and such people and myself have been having.

One needs certain complimentary mods for a 2.3 and 2.5 pulley to have more power and help not over heat.
CAI, headers, custom open EL ypipe 2.25/2.5 diameter with no cats, and water/meth spray are most vital cause they all help either pump out
the exhaust gases more efficiently or cool the IATs. This 2.8 pulley talk is silly. Its proven a 2.7 makes more power with multiple
xrunner dynos years ago. The smaller pulleys need the above to produce more power.

Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
    Suggestions needed.
On my way back from a 2500 mi road trip I felt the steering alignment shift mid corner.
Before the trip I had pulled the rack and swapped in poly bushings. Steering wheel was off by a tooth but did not bother to straighten. Drove fine through the mountains and some offroading. Kept the same offset.
But now it will flip back and forth an inch or so off center. Everything in the steering shaft feels tight. All other alignment points feel good. Not sure if steering intermediate shaft TSB has been performed.
Could I be skipping a tooth in the rack? I run 34 in tires. Only seems to shift on higher speed sweepers. Not a good feeling...
    Ideas?
