    Alright. Stacking the 2D and 3D adjusted tables wasn't as crazy different as I expected. But I do believe it's the best tune I've done yet. I also just added the air load control smoothing Mat recently posted and flashing the truck once more. I'm going to run this tune for a while. Give it at least a 100 mile plus trial.

    I will post this new file after I get back from my initial, finalized trial run of all 3 adjustments combined.

    This new file is the 04B04_Reg_stock_thx_33 base tune with the (3D) Throttle Request to Airload map adjusted, all 6 of the (2D) Throttle management - Throttle limit normal gear maps adjusted, and all the Airload control - Control Airflow, and Airload control - Expected Airflow smoothing completed.

    This variation will be called:
    O4BO4+Stacked-Throttle.Limitations.vft

    Link to be found in Signature

    Happy Tuning!

    We can get the AISC surge to start as low as 2700 rpm instead of 3650? If so, how is that done? If I could get less of a SURGE and more of an e longed PULL, that would be the COOLEST!

    this and that...
    if i remember correctly, ovtune said that theres not much variance to play around with. going too low had adverse effects and going too high had adverse affects (i forgot what he said exactly lol), also saying right where he set it at was the "sweet spot" per se.

    Thanks for noting the tables you are tweaking, I can model that for my stock tire tune better. This gives me some practice before the perf(tow) tunes patch comes out so I can fine tune.

    I changed the values. the 25600.78 values I changed to 1 like Mat said it should be in an earlier post. After saving, they turned to .78? I changed the low from 2700 to 3400 again as Mat suggested. Did I get this right? Or did I misinterpretacis2.jpg ?

    @OVTune,
    Is there any restrictions on unlocking TC? Speed,load, etc?
    Say I'm in 5th, TC locked and I want to delay the kickdown to 4th.
    Taking about a steep long climb, speed over 70.
    Thanks

    I don't seem to have those 2D tables, my version of VF doesn't have that Throttle Airflow section or any of those tables in your picture at all. I downloaded the new version of VF from the ovtuned website just now to make sure I was up to date but no change. Or is this something only Auto's have and since I have a manual trans tune file opened those tables don't show up?

    I've been doing a bit of logging and found this on a WOT pull I did. Pedal is on the floor as you can see but the throttle valve close by 15 degrees around 5300 RPM. Seems like airflow reacts accordingly as well by tapering off until I let off the pedal. Is this something you have noticed or brought to your attention? Seems like some power is being robbed on the top end unless there is a reason for it?
