My trash guy lost 3 family members to it.

 

We’ve lost thousands just in the VA hospitals alone.

 

2 were over 50, 1 a seemingly healthy 30 year old. The stats are out there, just look. It’s a devastating virus.

 

I’d rather talk about BBQ.

 

That’s unfortunate.

The last six months of work I’ve had to audit between 2500-3000 charts related to COVID, either presenting with the virus or in our clinical trial program. I had to give a presentation on documentation requirements a few weeks ago.

I was kinda hoping that I was speaking to someone else in healthcare with a similar story.

 

You know what a ball ache it is to get a decent brisket cut around here? Other than importing it I’m having to hold a freezer and buy from a local farmer that butchers and sells direct.

 

I hear prime brisket is only $2.50 a pound at Costco.

 

Not near me mate, I’m rural.

 

You needed a 700 or better credit score to get a brisket 3 months ago.

 

It’s $3.50 at H‑E‑B, but it was crazy expensive two months ago. Hopefully it makes it way up to you.

 

$8-10 a pound. Might as well order Franklin BBQ to go for that price.

 

I don’t deal with charts I just go into everyone’s house who feels sick. I share a bed, not at the same time, with people who have tested positive. I might have already had it and lucked out by not knowing. There are 7 guys off work right now that were positive with no symptoms.

 

This guy is very inexpensive but he only butchers once every quarter so I’m buying a quarter cow each time. Im still trying to find a regular chicken guy right now. I’m getting to the point that I’m over going to market for meats and vegetables as the meats are all dyed and injected with saline. Our garden is moving along fairly well and I’m planning on putting some fruit trees in soon.

 

About 3.50 a lb here at Market Basket

 

They just opened up a Business Costco down the street. $2.88/lb commodity brisket. I don't know what a "commodity " brisket is, but it doesn't sound all that good.

 

I could come build you a chicken coop, with solar power.

 

They weren’t even selling them here. I asked the butcher and he said nobody could afford one.
