Cool. I think that is why they had higher amperage alternators back in the day, just curious.

I live in mid Michigan in the LP. According to Carfax, the previous/original owner was in Connecticut.

I think his did too but the DRLs wouldn't turn off. No, mine is a US truck. I even have my climate controls in F and not C (no one has figured out how to change those from C to F to my knowledge).

So a general wiring question: Do you use diodes when you switch with ground? I always have as that is the way I learned it. Seem un-needed?

Cool. It's been so long since I learned this stuff that I don't remember why it was, just that it was.

Here is a question with an obvious answer: Do you have the full pin out for C11?

But, can you change the climate control settings from F to C or vise versa?

But in all seriousness, there shouldn't be any reason you can't. I look at my LCD screen and I can see the spot for decimal numbers that aren't used when it is set to F.

Well, it is missing that 3rd digit needed for that. It goes to about 85 if I remember correctly and then just says HI (very polite). I believe it goes down to around 62 also before saying LO.

Edit: I'm only curious because I have seen a few threads where people can't get it to change and I like contributing helpful information in those cases.

Where's the fun in that? :) It is nice to get the info out. I try to follow up on stuff that I may get answers to months down the road, just so the next guy that might be googling it and comes across the thread can see the resolution.

Yes, it is nice to see threads come full circle and have a solution.
