Hello all. I am looking for a tacoma, coming from the Nissan community. Two Pathfinders, a Titan and an X. Had a 92 Toyota pickup that I loved, and an 05 Sequoia that was a lemon, so not totally foreign to Toyota. If I can find a nice Tacoma I am sure I will get very involved in this forum.

Here is the main reason I joined. I am rebuilding a 3RZ from a 95 taco for a friend. She had taken it to a "mechanic" that took it apart and left it sitting outside for months. I will start a thread in the 1st gen forum with some questions, please look and help me out.

Good luck. Tacomas (and anything decent automotive) have gotten more expensive the past 6 months. People have generally decided they don’t like public transportation.

I have noticed. Looking at market graphs, Tacomas from about 2012 and up have increased 15% over this time last year. Doesn't help that so much manufacturing was shut down, so new cars aren't being shipped, which also drove up demand.

I finally sold my rig last weekend, but I have been watching the Taco market for about 4 months. Anything reasonably priced gets snatched up in about a day. I may need to be a one car family for a while and wait for prices to come back down. Fortunately, I have a company vehicle for work purposes.
