In general, how much of a percentage translates to a real world change that can be noticed?

Thanks guys.. the smoothing function (CTRL-I) will pull down your values if you highlight cells with noticeably lower numbers in them.. just like I thought. If you watch the effects of your changes in real time on the 3D model of the map in question, you'll see what I mean. Might have to play with increasing certain areas individually..

25% has shown to be quite a jump, and very noticeable on the 2d throttle changes I made. I personally always decrease my percentages the higher the values get. For the throttle as an example again most of what it's lacking is at the bottom. So to help smooth things out I decrease the % as I go up in values.

I watch that map every time I make a change! Helps me understand that much more what to expect.

I'm really new at this, so grain of salt lolol.

Another idea I had was to make the values in say the 650 and 800 rpm rows the same as say.. the 1k or 1.2 rows and then smooth the whole area as detailed by Mat. That'll be another file lol.

Worth a try, but I wonder if at those low rpms with a higher load if opening the throttle more would slow the air velocity having an inverse effect on torque.

But for full disclosure I don't know shit about Fuc......

Is there an update on this? Mine won't save the changes. 25,600.78 reappears after being saved.

In this post you state alternatively the 2d maps can be changed... Im currently running a stacked tune with both the 3D and 2D tables modified. Is that not a good idea?

I dunno... Mooseditty must have figured out a shortcut for that? He seems to re-flash and test approximately every two hours.

    Unsure lol..

It's not really a big deal, just gotta get through that first few miles of retarded surging/bogging etc.

    LOL!
Lots of gas $. I should be giving it more time for a fair assessment as well. But changes are noticable in as few as 30 minutes. Including the 10 minute idle. I'm always apprehensive on the initial drive after idle. But 5 miles or so into it, the changes start showing up. I do lots of start / stop in town driving. Mixing up Slow acceleration, hard acceleration, then a hwy drive and back to city streets. By the second round of city streets the throttle comes alive as if the learning curve has flattened. Maybe it's all in my head, but seems to work for me.

No idea. I thought all shift tables were condensed in one or a few.

I did put 25% up to 33 accelerator, 20 for next 2, and 10 for last for 3,4,5,6 and did a few runs. I did not notice any crazy effects. Slightly improved accelation on long inclines on 6th and 5th.
