But, I generally tell people if you plan on staying on night shift long term, DO NOT try to live during the day and work at night. Get a room in the house (if you can) and get it just as dark as you possibly can and that is your day time sleeping room. Do not flip your sleep on your days off, just to please others. If there is an important family function, then by all means, do not ignore. Our clocks are 12 hours flipped from the day-walkers. I do not make noise when my family sleeps at night. I perform quiet functions during that time. (i.e. no truck mods, reframing the walls, cooking meals, etc.) But, I do not sleep on THEIR cycle.
I am not mean about it, but my sleep is just as important as theirs and the respect goes both ways. My regular non-smart phone is turned off or muted when I sleep. There is an emergency cell phone always on and only five people have that number if I am needed while I am sleeping during the day.
Each person has their own situation to deal with and what has worked for me may not be your cup of tea. But, for life longevity and mental sharpness, two to three hours of "sleep" ain't gonna cut it. It wouldn't work if we were day-walkers either. Why would we think it would work for nights too?

I am with you on that! Very well said. I am a night walker as well, have been for a long time and my family has always been pretty good about it. Your advice is very spot on!

If I remember correctly, I was able to put several coats on both caps with only 1 can

I installed these front and back— after 6 months of mud, dogs, water, etc can say they are worth every penny. Amazing how waterproof / durable they are. Pricey but very happy.

100% worth it for anyone running a cover. Super easy install.

Exactly. I ran the obd2 w zip ties to the driver side; pulled the A pillar off and tucked extra slack of scan guage wire into side panel (secured w zip ties), and fished the length up through the dash to the a pillar. I took the dash off but realized there was actually a gap between the dash and frame so I went up along the wall/side without needing to remove anything except the a pillar cover. Just where the a pillar meets the dash from the top. I connected the scan guage wire to the extra cord that came w the mount so that I could disconnect from a pillar if ever needed. Ran up along a pillar to the head liner. I actually didn’t remove the headliner I just tucked it in to the mirror and then routed w the existing mirror wire...sorry not the best description — if it wasn’t all hidden I’d take pictures but I think it was a really clean install. Feel free to pm me if I can explain more!

...also if you figure out how to get front differential temp is love to hear it. There’s an xgauge code for it but I keep getting a negative number so I’m guessing the sensor doesn’t provide a true read...

Running Nitto Terra Grapplers, 265/70R17, and the lift is Bilstein 5100s all 4 corners with OME 885 springs and an AAl in the rear from Headstrong Offroad. Wheels I ordered from BAM wholesale parts.
