Also meal update from last week after bumping up carbs again...(120g up to 250) Fucking nasty pumps! However I still can't be certain my threshold. I had was told last minute we had a monthly meeting with our clients and I was in charge of lunch. So many cookies... Gahhhhhh. How we PUMP WAS SICK. anyway. Next week we try again.

I would like a solid 200g each day with my refeed Wednesday. I drop my fats and proteins and add in about 2x more carbs. I did do this Thursday at my client meeting but damn I did it also Friday lol

So do you feel there was any magic to the increased fat intake?

No lol. Altho I can't say I gave it enough time. I will say that I believe for a fact that when I eat carbs (esp sugar driven) it makes me hungrier and hungrier as I continue to consume. When I ate those cookies it's all I wanted was more junk. If I never eat a cookie or sugary food I'm 100% fine.

You guys are obviously on a different level with your fitness pursuits but what is your views on caffeine intake. Helps workouts with strong coffee but affects my sleep quality. Appreciate the advice since you dudes sound like you experiment with your routine/diet.

I have a cup of coffee in the am and work out in the am too. I don’t love stims for working out anymore; sleep is more important than the extra I get from the stims.

I have 250mg in the am but nothing after 10am or my sleep suffers. I don't use a pre-workout anymore, as my workouts are fueled by carbs and food and I like my sleep to be restful so I recover better.

With proper nutrition you shouldn't need a stimulant pre-workout. Change my mind.

Same here, but often two cups and the first is strong s**t, then I work out around noon to early afternoon. Still working on the sleep part.

I have about a cup and a half of coffee in the morning then 175mg caffeine before I lift, anywhere from 6-9 pm on weeknights. I sleep fine. I understand where @Travish325 is coming from re:nutrition, but most of the time I take the caffeine for the mental side and not the physical. Maybe its a placebo but it seems to work. After I deal with other people’s bullshit all day at work I’m pretty drained mentally so it helps me get psyched to lift.

I normally just share a coffee with my wife in the morning, that is the extent of my caffeine consumption. Caffeine has allegedly been shown to be a vasoconstrictor.
I’ve had an interest in nonstim nootropic type preworkout but never enough to shell out the $40-60 for 20 servings.

With proper viagra/cialis use you don't need any of the above. Change my mind.

You can come across some good stuff if you wait for deals or buy in bulk. I can t stand a 20 serving $40 anything like what in the fuck my tren don't cost that much...

Good brands I found so far was Primeval labs and Alpha lion. Rule 1 I believe too. Nutribio has some good priced items as well.

That’s sad when the actual drugs that work are cheaper than placebo supplements

That's because most gym rats aren't super serious and are afraid of the stuff that actually works.... They go spend hundreds at GNC on shit that does absolutely nothing and think they are gods. It's all in the marketing.

I just wish it wouldn’t have to be through a needle and affected my natural test. I’m down for drugs and getting serious but there’s so much to it that could stick with you for life :pout:

Lately I’ve been relying on shitty food to meet my cals andI noticed the same thing. High sugar garbage makes you want more high sugar garbage. Vicious cycle
