I fully discosed that the driverside wheel bearing was suspect prior to sale.

 

Well my area has been reduced from a mandatory evacuation order to an evacuation warning so that means i get to go home tomorrow. We have been living out of our truck while crashing on couches for 3 going on 4 nights. Like someone else said on here, living out of your truck is not as fun when you are forced to do it.
We found out my mother lost her house in the fire, along with everyone else we know that lived in her town. Unfortunately she is very poor and did not have fire insurance so she gets to start from 0. However she has support from friends and family and she will be ok.
Looking forward to being back home and cleaning out all the rotten food out of my fridge because power has been off there since the 8th due to the fire so that should be fun... but my problems are small compared to many many others.

 

Anyone know if there's already a "Sactown Tacos" club? Because if not... I'm about to buy a domain and setup some coffee meets. Once all this damn smoke clears out, there needs to be some caffeinated 4x4 shenanigans!!

awww man. I had faith in you. Lol. Hey i been smoking lately (food, not ) and i'm getting better at it. That beer chicken came out pretty good once you pulled back the burnt skin. Lol. I let it sit in blue moon for an hour, then I shoved a bunch of spices and garlic up its but, then stuffed it on top of that tall boy blue moon. Smoked for an hour, then 80 minutes at 400

I’m currently covering people’s vacations at work.

The place I’m at this week I’m prepping an entree and cooking it to get ready for lunch later meanwhile I’m doing short order breakfast grill cooking for around 90 people per day in about 3 hours.
I think the last time I did this kind of cooking was around 1997.
I’m brain dead by noon and I’m starting at 4:45 in the morning.
