Any ideas what to put on the front license plate bracket?

Why?? If your state doesn't require one leave it alone.

Identical plate on the front. The state of Fruits & Nuts requires two plates

My little white haired grandpa was cited for modifying his plate to fit his Beetle from WA State Patrol lol Apparently this is illegal in WA!

    Haha! Wow.

I did a similar thing on my previous truck, no problems for 7 years.

I guess @tonered might be in trouble, as he is in washington :)

Oh yeah, I drove my Subaru for a few years with no front plate because I'm too cool for that $hit and I got pulled over several times, even with it in the front window. The Blubaru was a cop getter though! My ticket record was atrocious. Switched to a stock grand cherokee and I seem to really fly under the radar hahaha

I didn't mod the plate. Seeing the number of peeps with no plate or it in their window, I'm not too worried.

You wont be driving for long with your front plate in the window in my neck of the woods. Cops are pretty anal here.

Anal is a good word for the WSP, which makes the no front plate / windshield thing a mystery.

They due get an extra burr up there from time to time for tires out past the body. I appreciate that one, but things seem to be pretty lax for the past while.

I took the bracket off the truck, drilled new holes in the license plate to match the mounting points on the bumper. I then stuck some foam on and mounted the plate directly to the bumper.

Purchased the truck in Maryland which is a front plate state. Surprising I guess since they knew it was going to live in Pennsylvania they left the front plate bracket in the back seat unwrapped. I decided no front plate but I had one on my previous vehicle because the bracket was already there. Happy with out one for now IMG_20200729_201308.jpg

If the police get defunded, license plates will be the least of their worries.
