Hunting down a rogue noise and removed the underseat storage bins to see if they were the cause. Might slap some sound-deadening material in there while they are out.

    Never enough
Removed the front fairing on my roof rack and installed a Niilight 42" curved light bar. China special baby! Works good enough for me and was super budget friendly. Light bar, wiring harness and OEM style switch was only bout $100 total. Bonus is that my roof rack is waaaay quieter now! Winning!

You ever have one of those days?

Nothing I did today went right.

I said screw it and pulled all of the wiring out of the truck.
I ordered another T-harness for the remote start because I messed up the one I have.

My auto-dimming mirror came in today so I figured I at least run the wires for that and connect power and ground when I get the new T-harness.
Clipped in the temp sensor and ran the wires inside, no issues there. Plugged the connector into the mirror and two wires pulled out of the connector. WTF

    :annoyed:

I just went from OEM tail lights from a 2013 Tacoma to OEM lights from a 2012 (the year of my truck).

I meant to ask why to put so many coats of etching primer on when you paint?

Etching primer is really only sprayed in one thin coat for the etching purposes. After that regular primer but hey as long as it works for ya I reckon. The etching primer is really only a base to help insure adhesion to the base metals or whatever you are spraying on. When you did the rear bumper did you run any seem sealer around where the plates over lap the tubing before spraying?
