You ever have one of those days?

Nothing I did today went right.

I said screw it and pulled all of the wiring out of the truck.
I ordered another T-harness for the remote start because I messed up the one I have.

My auto-dimming mirror came in today so I figured I at least run the wires for that and connect power and ground when I get the new T-harness.
Clipped in the temp sensor and ran the wires inside, no issues there. Plugged the connector into the mirror and two wires pulled out of the connector. WTF

    :annoyed:

I just went from OEM tail lights from a 2013 Tacoma to OEM lights from a 2012 (the year of my truck).

I meant to ask why to put so many coats of etching primer on when you paint?

Etching primer is really only sprayed in one thin coat for the etching purposes. After that regular primer but hey as long as it works for ya I reckon. The etching primer is really only a base to help insure adhesion to the base metals or whatever you are spraying on. When you did the rear bumper did you run any seem sealer around where the plates over lap the tubing before spraying?

Full wash/wax after lifting an additional 1” or so yesterday. Went to stage 3 from stage 1 on the Icon RXT leaf pack, and raised the front to match.

How did you like using the gray can of Steel-It? I painted a rear bumper with the black and hated it.

I've used the gray can of Steel-It when doing the cab mount chop and really like the way the Steel-It comes out. I'd like to try the grey on my sliders.
