What's wrong with the hook?

 

Nothing with the hook itself, I just don't have to worry about it coming loose if the line goes slack for any reason or I do something wrong. I can attach it with a shackle and not think about it.

 

Oh, ok
But when it is raining or you are in mud a hook is a lot faster, just hook and go. If you keep everything in good working order a hook has a safety latch to prevent it from come off.

 

Armored up, stock skid probably wouldn’t had held up any longer lol thanks for the rec @gixxerphil these are awesome!



Having trouble connecting the mid skid. SOS concepts said it would work for both prerunner and 4x4 but I’m thinking he may have misspoke, the crossmember sits an inch further back. Waiting to hear back from him

We're making our inaugural camping trip in the Taco next weekend. Unfortunately, my air mattress order was cancelled today by the supplier. Every Airbedz supplier is backordered or out of stock since they all drop ship from the manufacturer.

I've had no luck finding a local supplier between Birmingham and Bristol. Absolutely nothing online.

I'm out of ideas as sleeping the wife and I between the wheel wells is gonna be tight quartered. Any one have an Airbedz mattress that will fit the short bed?
