I try to limit my intake to a cup a day. Sometimes I’ll go for two.

But really not much outside of that. It messes with my BP and sleep.

that was our issue in the academy. We did a crap ton of flutter kicks so our hip flexors already hurt. Add in the stairs and we added in knee pain and finished off our hip flexors lol. I took epsome salt baths and ice bathed every night the first two weeks.

I’ll upload videos later. It’s FAR from a clean run but I could get it done in comp if needed. First time doing heavy yoke in months.

600lb is the LW yoke at nationals.... If you're hitting that already then go open.

I bought a 70lb one for my house. Comes in handy and was not too expensive. I literally use the gym for swimming and that’s about it

My buddy is competing at like 170lbs. Is there different strongman corporations or something? He said he’s cutting for the next one in october.

He's going for the 150lb sub class in LW. Sucks for him though cause if he gets 1st-3rd there is no pro card for LW men. He may get an Arnold invite but that's it.

Ight. I looked at the classes again. MW open overhead medley would be a push. I’d have to dig deep to get the reps in. But everything else seems fairly easy.

if I’m a total noob and all the weights seem doable for my class in freaking OPEN, then why doesn’t everyone get a pro card? Seems pretty easy unless they’re pumping out stupid reps.

I could cut down to 185 and do LW as well.

You’re just making it seem way easier than it probably is
