    Looking good!

One thing to think about (you may be already, but there are a couple places that are hard to tell...) if you can, when you are done, have all of your beads form a seal on all edges of the plate, as well as the holes, then you won't have to worry about moisture getting between the plate and the frame. Just something to think about, since the whole point of this is to strengthen that puppy!

Yep! Plan is to get it cleaned up, then go over the whole back half with a close eye and a piece of chalk, mark all the suspicious stuff, then go back and address it. Between these plates and all the rusty bits I've replaced, it ought to be in good shape.
