Here are my ACIS values and a log I did earlier today. Cant quite decipher what is happening between the low and high range on the ACIS tables but moving the HIGH ACIS RPM down to 3400 definitely smoothed out the turbo.

You do not need to change the bit activations for ACIS, (25600, 0.78). Don't change them

Last file I'm going to add until I learn more about tuning...

Based on the 04B04_Reg_Stock_Thx_33 base tune. Modified the ACIS: 3400 High, 2700 Low. FIXED THE ACIS MISHAP (see next few posts) . Air-load control maps have been smoothed, Acceleration Throttle Request map (3D) values were increased and smoothed. An the first 6 Throttle management tables (2D) increased.

Most aggressive throttle setup I've done yet. Still very manageable. Shifts still seem to be on point! ACIS definitely has a much smoother pull to it. No longer the ridiculous YZ 85 power band, but perhaps similar to a modern CRF250 four-stroke in comparison. :D Link will be in signature.

I'm confident this is my best tune yet. Should offer adequate Smiles/Gallon.

I haven't noticed any negative side effects from having changed those odd values. Should we put them back in, or is it ok?

You too got rid of those strange values, you notice anything negative from doing so? OV just posted to leave them alone.... :annoyed:

The values, are just a single byte that represents the individual binary bits that control when and what conditions ACIS is opened at the RPM points (low, high)

    So change them back?

    I don't want to share a sh*tty file...
Like the last one I just posted that has the 25600.78 values changed

If so I need to re-flash my truck too!

I changed the 3rd AICS value back to 25600.78
High is 3400, low is 2700, and rest are .78

How does one unlock there ECU ID? I'm stuck with 5 credits and a blank white screen.

Open a file. It’ll ask if you want to use your credits to unlock.

Click the circle, not the open folder button. You can't "open" those files,(P5F) you can only flash them

I don't want to flash. I want to edit a stock tune. How do you even view a stock tune? I can't read a 2.0 tune right?

You have to download the .VFT tunes. Those are the only ones you can edit. The P5F are the same, but not able to be modified.

Make sure you copy all the downloaded .VFT files into a "Tune" folder. Otherwise you'll be asking for the originals by tomorrow :D

Never mind I found them. For a software dev and IT dude I feel really dumb right now. Thanks all for your help.

If you want the stock file, you don’t need to download anything

    C:/program files (x86)/vf tuner/Tacoma/
