@Xrs-fsho yeah man I did a lot of research when I first lifted it back in 2016 lol but me, I'm never satisfied lol I started with the 4" lift and then changed wheel/tires to 20's so had to go up to the 6.5" to clear. Then swapped wheels/tires again, then recently got the 315s and thought it'd look better on the 4" so went back down, only to realize it rubs like a MF still lol so then here I am adding more lift and UCAS lol I'm telling you this truck is easy to modify and it becomes an addiction haha.

OKAY! So. I got the truck back and they got it aligned. I guess it was just something they've never had to align before bc they've never seen a 2wd lifted as big as mine with that tire size. They also haven't aligned with those UCA's before so they learned as they went. The thing that upset me a bit is they couldn't get a print out of my alignment specs because they had to override their system as they started with entering the factory specs but then when I called to tell them the numbers, they had to override/default to what I told them. IDK. But I figure I can go back to Firestone and they can get me the current specs. They wrote down where it was at before and after.
    Before: caster 3.4/3.9, Camber 0/ -1, toe 0/0
    After: caster 2.2/2.2, camber 0/0, toe 0/0

I'll probably go to firestone soon and have them get me more to 3-3.5 degrees. Haven't gone to Discount yet, will either do that later today after work or tomorrow early morning to do the balancing and rotation.

I was curious and will have to ask around, but, I'm thinking these SPC arms lift the vehicle a bit...in the picture below there's a big gap between the top of the spindle and the control arm, the ball joint is inserted all the way in and torqued down so I'm thinking it gave me like another inch or two... the front of the truck looks like there was more than 1.5" added to the strut lol. If it did then I might go and remove the strut spacer to see lmao (never satisfied I tell ya). I'll post some better pics later today, side shots and other angles to show the difference in height.

@cogen11 So Maxtrac comes complete in a variety of kits. They sell the 4" kit with just spindles, 2" blocks, ubolts, front brake lines, and maxtrac rear shocks. They replace the shocks with Fox Shocks as an upgrade. They also do the 6.5" kits the same way but they add in the 2.5" strut spacers and 4" blocks in stead of the 2".

I modified my kit when I ordered from Headstrongoffroad.com. I got the spindles, front 5100 adjustable bilstein struts and used my stock coils. The rear I got a OME leaf pack in place of the blocks and extended rear bilstein shocks. That leaf pack gave me a surprising 3" so that made it more level with the front than the 2" blocks that it comes with would do.

It's up to you what you want done to your truck and how much money you want to spend on it. Marie at @HeadStrong Off-Road can modify your order or even recommend different parts.

You can go to their website and check out their products. They have complete kits, filter from front suspension and the rear, also upper control arms and accessories. I highly recommend them as I've ordered everything I have from them.

    hey everyone,

I'm thinking about getting a 4" spindle lift and I'm a bit confused of the pros/cons vs just a lift suspension?

Would I be fine just getting the spindle lift and some sort of rear lift without replacing any suspension parts (struts, coils, uca)?

can I clear with factory wheel/tire setup?

Do I have to worry about taco lean if I do replace the suspension/even if I dont?

This is my setup updated. Couple things.

Started with the Maxtrac spindles and rear aal's on 33s. Since then, I put 1" of preload on 5100s up front, had stock OR springs powder coated and added SPC UCAs. For anyone wondering, if you just bolt the Maxtrac spindles on with no more lift, you can get a good alignment. As a matter of fact, the spindles add a little caster. Once it goes up an inch above that, you're probably going to need UCAs. I highly, highly recommend the SPCs because a good shop can really dial it in.

I added a rear 2.5" block. So the truck is now 5" front and 4" back.

Wheels are 285/75r18 (35x11.5) on 18x9.5 -19mm KMCs. MANDATORY CMC, trimming and pinch weld hammering, and I had to have LCAs pushed fully forward even with this lift. Unless you stick with a 33 and 0 offset 8" wheel, expect to CMC.

That thing looks huge! Well done. Looks like the front could go up another inch maybe to level out.

Does anyone else have ground to fender or hub to fender measurements? Whenever I look at peoples pics, compared mine looks a little low.

A lot of us are running more than the Maxtracs + additional lift. What size tires are those?

That's why. Most people are running 33s and you have 35s.

I'm running just the 4" spindles and the 2" blocks with 285/70R17's. I'm at 39.5" in rear and 40" in front. I also plasti-dipped my fender flares... fools the eye a little bit.

I considered running that size tire... how is it working out for you? Did you get a CMC?

Thinking about running these on my 2nd gen. Can I run my factory 20" enkie wheels without any spacers?
