I told you man Raw is the way to go. Sure you have to edit all the photos before you post them online. And with Lightroom you can edit every image at once with presets.

Its way easier and faster then photoshop. Try it out you will use it for all your post work.

 

Is raw really necessary if i dont edit my flicks?

Editing your images does not mean your not getting it right in the camera. It means you have way more freedom wile shooting. I shoot a lot of photos 1/2 to a full f stop over exposed then adjust the sliders in lightroom to give the image more contrast and a slight HDR effect.

You don't have to shoot in Raw but i recommend you do Lightroom treats every image the same Raw,JEPG,Tiff whatever you can do the same thing to all the images formats. Raw will just give you a lot more info to play with. You can always shoot in Raw+JEPG but trust once you start playing with your photos you will rarely post just right out of the camera.

with rawr, i hate it, it lost quality after converting to jpeg!

 

try shooting that 50mm at F5.6 its SO sharp its amazing

with raw you do post production! thats what photoshop and gimp and lightroom is for!
