So I think I am going to give these standard injectors a shot. @OVTune do you have any input on this subject?

His response to them was “I can’t stand behind a manufacturer that he has never heard of”. Along the line of that anyways....
But if he’s got more input, let’s hear them for the benefit of future Customers looking to do fuel upgrades.

Yeah I hear ya. Two from Phoenix, two from Florida and two from yada yada just to get my six. And still not even here yet. Waiting on the Cobb turbo blankets as well, it’s on a supposed 3-6 week backorder.
Sorry to sound like I’m bitching..I’m not lol

I must have got lucky with the blankets. I ordered 2 weeks ago and got them like 3 days later.

    Same. Sort of.

Ordered from Full-Race and then got an email from them saying they were backordered. Cancelled that order and ordered from Cobb, had them 3 days later.

Full-race still hasn't officially canceled my order or issued me a refund after two weeks.

Oof. Sorry to hear that. I had an email confirming my cancellation the day after I requested it, and had my money back a few days later.

I guess other things that came up WRT production had a greater impact than we'd expected/foreseen, looking at it from the outside as we are.

This makes me wonder how much of the cost Mat has been eating for us, the first 25, aside from the cost of catted vs catless pipes that he'd told us about.

It can't be denied, Mat has certainly gone out of his way to provide high quality pieces with this kit rather than cheap out on it.

When you look at it as a total package, it's really not that bad. You're getting a crapload of hardware plus all of Mat's time developing this and dynoing it (with proof). For the gains and potential going forward with added boost and tune tweaking it's not a bad price. Sure, the early adopter price is a steal for you lucky 25, but honestly under $8k for all-in is not terrible....

oh wow, after ziggy posted i didn't bother to look thinking it was well north of 8k. I'm surprised, still not bad at all with the R&D confidence right in front of us for all to see.

I'm a OvTune user and fan. So far he has given us Gen3's that are mostly fun to drive. Glad you have faith in Mat @OVTune and his developing product (s). Not to throw stones but some of you should look at post you have made on another thread and consider Mat's progression is really no different that theirs - especially considering they are using his VFTuner software. It is a business, and users and believers make the sweat and blood worth every sleepless minute spent developing products. In the end we all want our Gen3's to exceed our expectations. Love the snails and the sc options we have to choose from in the present and future. The only obstacle we have is the "Man" the the restrictions he has placed on us.:crapstorm:

I agree. Idont want to post on the mag thread but I feel some folks are being overly critical.

You have to look at it from magnusons point of view.
They aren't trying to break power records, and the gains it makes is not much different than any other supercharger they have.
Take the 4.0 4runner. 30 percent Hp, 28 percent Tq gains at the crank.

I feel it's right in line with the power gains from their other systems.

Maybe you guys have been "spoiled" by our dyno results and expect similar gains. It simply isn't going to happen, it's two different systems. Ours is designed specifically to maximize torque from 1600+ RPM,
The Maggies design is just increase power overall.

It's also possible that the SC is too big for the 3.5 and running low boost doesn't make big gains. Same problem harrop ran into on the tundra. Harrop threw a huge blower out to the tundra guys.

Yet at the same boost it makes LESS power than the TVS1900.
Only by going to a smaller pulley and cranking up boost does it really open up.

Also remember boost psi does not equal power. Turbos have no parasitic loss either. So 7-8 psi on our system isn't comparable to 7-8 on a SC.

The turbos make big torque at 2000 rpm! Well yes of course they do. That's exactly what they are designed to do.

I would expect if Maggies offering a warranty then they probably dont't want these motors to throw a rod through the block by giving it the most possible power!(seen it on a URD setup first hand) seeing as they might need to pay for part of the repair.
